Charles Matthews

Charles has worked in drug discovery (oncology) and regenerative medicine for more than two decades and he has extensive experience investigating the impact of biomaterials and pharmacologic agents on cellular biology.

Charles leads Locate Bio’s scientific team and he’s responsible for end-to-end product development. This includes initial product conception, laboratory feasibility studies, pre-clinical testing and GMP manufacture.

Charles holds a Physiology and Pharmacology BSc from Sheffield University and a PhD from the Pharmacy School, University of Nottingham.
